Blue Gum Montessori School (BGMS) was established in 1983 and is a modern, innovative Pre-kindergarten to Year 6, Primary School.  BGMS is situated within the beautiful landscape of the Bibra Lake Wetlands and is fortunate to have a vibrant and welcoming community culture.

The School has a holistic approach to education and a focus on providing a genuine Montessori learning environment. BGMS is entering an important phase of consolidation and exciting strategic planning. Within a framework of recently completed play-spaces, excellent staff, stable leadership and an established Montessori environment, Blue Gum is committed to preparing children to be motivated and collaborative members of society.

The Board is responsible for the governance of the school, including ensuring the quality of educational programs, adherence to legislative requirements, policies and regulations and setting strategic direction and vision for the school.

BGMS is looking for Directors to join its Board for a term of two years.
