The treasurer is responsible for overseeing the financial affairs of the organisation, and keeping the Management Committee informed about the finances.

While they may not actually complete many of the finance tasks, they do need to monitor them.

The Treasurer will need to be available:

  • To authorise payment batches on a weekly basis (can be completed remotely)
  • To attend Management Committee meetings quarterly (usually held at night)
  • To attend Planning Days quarterly (usually held on weekends)

A CPA or equivalent membership is desirable
