Are you passionate about making a difference in the allied health sector? Bridging the Gap Inc. is seeking dedicated and experienced professionals to join our Not-for-Profit Board of Directors.

We aim to enhance the wellbeing of our community through innovative allied health services, and we need your expertise to guide our mission.

Who We Are: Bridging the Gap Inc. is committed to providing comprehensive support and resources across various allied health fields, including speech pathology, psychology, counselling, and other related services. Our board plays a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of our organisation.

What We’re Looking For: We invite candidates with a strong background in allied health, particularly those with experience in:

  • Speech Pathology
  • Psychology
  • Counseling
  • Other Allied Health Disciplines

Key Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in a board or governance role.
  • A deep understanding of the allied health landscape and current challenges in the field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in strategic planning, financial oversight, and organisational development.
  • A commitment to the mission and values of Bridging the Gap Inc., including a passion for community health and wellbeing.
  • Completion of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) or other similar directors courses would be advantageous.
