Are you passionate about supporting the Irish community in Queensland? IASAQ is seeking dedicated and community-minded individuals to join our Board. As a Board Member, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our organisation, contribute to meaningful projects, and help provide vital support services to those who need it the most. 

Maybe you're looking for an opportunity to help others or get more involved with the Irish community in Queensland? We welcome applicants with diverse skills and backgrounds, including finance, governance, HR, community engagement, and more.

Who are IASAQ? Founded in Brisbane in 2007, our mission remains the same as on day one; to provide valued support, care and assistance and consideration, where needed for the Irish Australian community in Queensland. 

IASAQ are a beacon of support for the Irish community in Queensland, bridging the gap between Ireland and Australia. We're all about creating a sense of home away from home and offering assistance to our Irish friends down under. 

Throughout the year we will host many different programs, events, functions, networking opportunities to bring the Irish community together. We also offer a dedicated Mother's Group, Seniors Group and a weekly Mental Health Support Group. Our Annual Charity Ball, Golf Day and Movie Nights throughout the year act ask fundraisers for the organisation along with creating opportunities for Irish people to stay connected to their culture while abroad. 

We are currently looking for a Secretary and Treasurer, along with new board members. This really is a great way to get involved and give back to your community, while creating meaningful change. Make a difference - apply today!
