Board Director

Mpower is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join its Board of Directors. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to the community and willingness to work collaboratively with other board members and executive management to provide strategic direction, financial oversight and ensure that the organisation is fulfilling its purpose and values. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing organisation and to contribute to its ongoing success. 

With offices in Warrnambool, Portland and Hamilton, Mpower is a community-driven organisation, delivering a range of funded and NDIS services to individuals with and without disabilities, children, young people, carers and family units. Services are designed to promote individual and family goals, education and opportunities.

Mpower:

  • Is a registered NDIS Provider and Community Services organisation
  • Owns a registered Child Care Centre provider which also delivers 3 & 4 year old kindergarten programs
  • Is a values-driven and client focused Not-for-Profit organisation.

Mpower’s Board is non-operational and is responsible for governance and strategic direction. Our vacancy is a unique opportunity to provide leadership in our local community and we are seeking applicants with knowledge and experience within the childcare and kindergarten industry.

New Board members will be required to undertake a Police Check, Working with Children Check and other checks as needed before commencement.
