Board Positions  

L'Arche Perth is an NDIS-registered, not-for-profit organization supporting people living with an intellectual disability, and their families.  

We offer high quality, person-centred support for adults with intellectual disability who make home together in cities across Australia. Our house in Dianella is home to four young women who are NDIS-funded, and we also offer short-term hospitality and in-community support.  

We are dedicated to transforming lives by recognizing and nurturing the unique gifts and inherent value of individuals with intellectual disabilities. 

About the roles 
Our community is expanding and seeking expressions of interest to join our volunteer board, including Treasurer and Vice Chair roles.  

As a valued member of our team, you will play a key role in upholding our governance standards whilst guiding our strategy, acting as an advocate for L’Arche Perth within the broader community, and supporting the growth of our community.  

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Experience in board/committee roles or general governance experience  
  • NDIS or Disability Service experience would be highly regarded  
  • Ability to foster effective communication at a board/committee level 
  • A collaborative working style with a down-to-earth approach 

 

Board meetings are held on the second Wednesday (6-8pm) each month in Scarborough.
