Wavlink is a neighbourhood house based in the city of Monash and focuses on building capacity, confidence and community connection for adults with a disability or other support needs. Wavlink is a registered NDIS provider but also runs a calendar of community events for people of all abilities, and cultural backgrounds aimed at promoting inclusion and celebrating diversity.
Wavlink is seeking expressions of interest for two voluntary Board positions.
Knowledge or experience in one of more of the following areas would be valuable
- Fundraising
- Disability
- Community Development
- Policies
- Marketing/ communications
- Strategic Planning
Our Board is responsible for the overall governance, strategy and broad financial supervision of Wavlink. They meet on a Wednesday evening every two months either online or in person at our Neighbourhood House in Glen Waverley.
