Volunteering Positions available:- Chair, Treasurer, Secretary General member, NFP Community Centre, Parafield Gardens, S.A.

Board Meetings: Commitment to attend and contribute to Monthly meetings and willing to be part of one of the Sub-Committees (meetings fortnightly).

We are seeking people from the local area who can demonstrate a strong interest in serving their community and are passionate about working with us and embrace our values of inclusion, diversity, respect and life-wide learning.

A range of skills, attributes and motivators are vital to being successful in these positions:- previous experience in a Not-for-Profit organization would be highly regarded as would an interest in Community Development.

Chair: –  (not limited to) Leadership & Governance, conducting meetings, effective communicator, Strategic Planning, oversee Risk Management of the organization, Funding  applications.

Treasurer:- (not limited to) oversight of the organisation’s  Financial Management, working closely with the Finance Officer, financial planning, control of assets & stock.

Secretary:- (not limited to) working closely with the Chairperson to co-ordinate Management Committee minutes and papers, take minutes, document meeting, distribute documents as required following meetings. Ensure the Policy register is reviewed and Policy schedule addressed monthly

General:- (not limited to) commitment to assist the organization in meeting strategic goals and objectives, be active in discussions and decision making, creative thinking and problem solving, sharing knowledge of local community needs.
