We are seeking Management Committee members who are passionate about mental health and can drive initiatives that break down barriers to access and promote mental wellness for all. Help us challenge stereotypes, foster understanding, and create an inclusive environment where mental health is a priority. As a visionary advocate for mental well-being, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of mental health care and destigmatising the conversation around mental health.

We are specifically seeking leaders with experience in one or both of the following:

• knowledge and experience within the human services and/or mental health sector
• the application of legislation within an organisation
• operating within a regulatory framework

Diversity is important to us and we strive for our Management Committee to truly represent the vibrant community we serve. We are actively seeking to include individuals from diverse backgrounds, including First Nations people, those with varied cultural and linguistic heritage, people with disabilities, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and young people.

We are looking for new Management Committee members who are:

• Passionate about improving outcomes for people with mental health conditions
• Genuinely keen to work collaboratively in a positive spirit with a diverse team
• Conscientious and willing to commit 10 hours per month to the role
• Appreciative of the responsibilities of a not-for-profit Board or Management Committee
• Open to learning - willing to self-identify skills, knowledge and behavioural gaps and identify professional development or mentoring needed to fulfil the role
• Willing to increase awareness and identify opportunities by promoting Stepping Stone to stakeholders and networks
• Generous in contributing relevant expertise, knowledge and networks.
