Jubilee Community Care is a leading provider of in-home aged care services with offices in Indooroopilly. We are a not-for-profit community service provider established in 1989.

As the central focus of our service, Jubilee Community Care endeavours to provide an approachable and transparent service that is able to respond to the changing needs and diversity of its community.

We are small enough to provide personal services and big enough to meet a wide range of care and support services for older clients.

 

We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced people to fill the following roles:

Treasurer

The main duties of our Treasurer in communication with the Finance Manager is to oversee the financial administration of our service, review procedures and financial reporting, advise the board on financial strategy.

One of the most significant requirements for a Treasurer is to ensure the management all finance related activities within our service and ensure that the Board is adequately informed on them.

To successfully fill this role, you must have financial qualifications and significant work related experience at management/board level.

 

Secretary

The secretary holds the responsibility for recording and coordinating board minutes and papers. The board secretary in communication with the Executive Director ensures our service meets regulatory compliance reporting requirements.

To fill this position you will have highly developed communication skills. The person will be responsible for proactively collaborating with board members to set up meetings, giving notice of any meetings, and promptly distributing reports and minutes.

 

Marketing, IT and Human Resources

We are seeking general board members with skills and experience in Marketing, IT and/or Human Resources. You will make a vital contribution to the future planning of our service.
