  • Financial Expertise: Individuals with specific skills in accounting and finance to ensure our financial sustainability and accountability.
  • Governance Experience: Previous board and governance experience to help guide the organisation’s strategic direction.
  • Chairperson Experience: Expressions of interest for the Chairperson role are also welcome.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and governance to IES.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of IES’s strategic plan.
  • Ensure the organisation’s financial sustainability and accountability.
  • Advocate for IES and its mission within the community and beyond.
  • Attend and actively participate in board meetings and relevant committees.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in governance, non-profit management, disability services, or a related field.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to commit time and effort to fulfil board responsibilities effectively.
