We are seeking a committed and passionate individual to join our Board of Directors as a non-executive Board Member. As a non-executive Board Member, you will provide independent oversight and guidance to the organisation, while supporting our mission and strategic goals. You will work alongside other board members and staff to identify opportunities for growth and development, while ensuring that the organisation operates in a responsible and effective manner. This is a voluntary position and requires a commitment of approximately 10-15 hours per month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend board meetings and provide input on strategic decisions
  • Support the development and implementation of the organisation's strategic plan
  • Help to identify and secure new sources of funding and resources
  • Provide guidance and support to the organisation's staff and volunteers
  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including funders and community organisations
  • Participate in fundraising and donor cultivation efforts
  • Attend events and represent Talk Out Loud Australia as needed
