1st cherrybrook scouts is a small but very enthusiastic bunch. In 2010 we would like to send a small group of scouts to the Australian Jamboree the estimated cost will be $10,000 a very daunting amount.
To qualify for Jamboree takes years of commitment from these kids, they have shown geat dedication to get this far. They have undertaken to raise half of this amount personally via sausage sizzles, car washes and just about anything they can think of.
With the rest we just need a little help to make this possible. Please support a great bunch of kids
Scouting makes a direct and positive impact on the community by teaching positive values and leadership skills to youth. Every year, Scouts and their leaders contribute thousands of volunteer hours to their local communities. Sharing time with the aged in the local community, helping with Clean Up Australia Day, Harmony Day and planting trees to help with the Murray-Darling River Rescue are just a few examples of the commitment Scouts make to their communities.
The group is open for everyone to join or participate in.
