Eastern Access Community Health is a creative, responsive and outcomes-oriented organisation that promotes and delivers integrated community health, disability and support services to individuals, families and groups in Melbourne's eastern region.
EACH is committed to a healthy and inclusive community.
EACH provides an integrated range of health, disability, counselling and community mental health services that promotes everyone's well-being.
Services include support for families and children,young people, people with mental health issues, carers and people with disabilities.
A range of counselling services are available including drug and alcohol, problem gambling, financial, domestic violence, victims of crime and general counselling.
EACH also runs an accredited long day care centre and kindergarten programs.
EACH Child, a long day care program won the 2008 Victorian Community Children’s award for its innovative approach to family support.
EACH Cleaning is cleaning two of EACH's offices located in Ringwood. The Cleaning group includes participants from Groundwork, a program of EACH that offers individual assistance to people who are managing a mental illness or other disability and who want to find work. The participants have completed a traineeship in Certificate 1 Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) and are now undertaking the Certificate 2 in Asset Maintenance (Cleaing Operations). Both these accredited courses are run by EACH Training.
EACH was awarded the Victorian Premier's Award for Primary Health Service of the year at the 2007 Victorian Public Healthcare Awards held in September 2007
Stage Club is a cabaret-style entertainment venue that offers people with mental illness the opportunity to perform and to learn entertainment industry and hospitality skills.
Stage Club opens the third Friday of every month from 6.00 to 10.00 pm at Lifeworks, 9 Greenwood Avenue, Ringwood (opposite Federation Estate). Ring Halcyon on (03) 9758 8508 to find out more or book your performance.
