YFC Australia is part of Youth for Christ International, an inter-denominational, non-profit organisation operating in over 80 countries. We are completely comitted to offering the best possible alternatives to Australian young people so that they can reach their God-given potential physically, relationally, emotionally and spiritually. We work with local churches to tackle issues relevant to young people including goal-setting, drug abuse, sexuality, and suicide and self esteem. Each year in Australia over 50,000 young people are impacted through our work.

Our Free Youth Guidance holiday camps are for children from low-income, dysfunctional families, and focus on early intervention of youth ‘at-risk'. The young people in this program have special needs in the areas of trust, friendship and life-skills. In most cases they have a history of broken relationships and abuse. They desire to be accepted but may have searched for acceptance in all the wrong places.

'AusLife' is another program that YFC Brisbane offers. It is a full day school-based program designed for students in years 10, 11 & 12. All programs encourage students to reflect, question and begin a personal search for meaning and significance by focussing on a theme (Goals & Values, Relationships, Drugs & Alcohol, or Self Esteem) which is developed throughout the day.

Youth For Christ in Brisbane has been serving the youth of Brisbane for more than 40 years. Our Brisbane office is focussed on providing support for low-income, single-parent families. Our programs are provided free of charge.
