To promote sailing for everyone, regardless of disability, financial status and age.

The Intent of Access Dinghy Foundation:

(a) To promote the development of clubs following the "sailing for everyone" philosophy where all people with disabilities are accepted and encouraged to participate in the sport of sailing in a safe and fun environment.
(b) To support people with disabilities to become intrinsically motivated to participate in club organisation at all levels, to increase self esteem, and empower people to live healthier and happier lives.
(c) To increase the range of therapeutic, recreational, competitive and training opportunities available to people with disabilities through the provision of sailing and sail training programs - from fun and social activity to elite level competition.
(d) To encourage participation in activities as listed in 1.6(c) by supporting, sponsoring and assisting participants with travel and accommodation.
(e) To liaise with sporting bodies, educational institutions, government agencies and other relevant bodies to represent the interests of the association.
(f) To disperse grants or sponsorships to individuals and "not for profit" organisations whose objectives the committee determines are complementary with the aims of the organisation.
(h) To implement fundraising and sponsorship activities to maintain the financial viability of the organisation.

Recent Accomplishments of Access Dinghy Foundation:

2002 Prime Minister's Award for Excellence in Community Business Partnerships.

2004 Off the Beach Class of the Year - Yachting NSW

Current Activities of Access Dinghy Foundation:

Expanding the Sailability network worldwide.
