To re-home abandoned and abused dogs, while educating the public on responsible pet ownership. We try and get the message across about sterilising dogs. We re-home approx 500 to 600 dogs a year, without any government help. We are soley run by a group of very dedicated volunteers south of the river. We recieve no Government assistance and depend soley on the sale of our dogs, fundraising and donations.
We visit as many council pounds as we can, saving as many dogs as we can fit in. We have as many as 40 dogs at a time in our kennels. We may not be as modern and as equipped as the RSPCA but we love our dogs and everyone who comes to us says that they think we are a lot more compassionate and less business like than other dog refuges. If you love dogs then please if you can help in any way please contact us, because every dog deserves a place to call home.
