What is this appeal for?
We offer accommodation to people with vision impairment and total blindness. We have a waiting list for this affordable accommodation, more is urgently needed to meet the needs of the blind community. We are a not for profit organisation fundraising to assist with our construction of a total estimated cost of $1,000,000.

How will the funds be used?
Construction of six new units on land owned at 57 Wilkins St West. The house on this land fronting the street is heritage listed and we are refurbishing it to maintain heritage appearance while developing two units of accommodation inside the house.

Key areas of expenditure for funds donated:
  • Six new units for blind and vision impaired people
  • Refurbishment of heritage house to provide two living units
